• Coordinate and support processes and standards for core Job Evaluation and Benchmarking services and solutions with the respective Practice Networks and IT as required Monitoring & Control
• Perform quality job evaluations within agreed timelines (including maintenance of the current job evaluation system) and act as a subject matter expert for all related topics to the People & Organization Business Partner.
• Ensure job evaluation performance according to Novartis principles/guidelines and process for assigned client group.
• Ensure consistency of role calibration across defined assigned area and Perform regular audits of new role evaluations within region.
• Together with external vendor, coordinate the annual compensation benchmarking activities and maintenance of salary ranges.
• Participate in survey provider matching meetings where feasible. Manage survey vendor to ensure data submission to external surveys happens in line with Novartis principles, quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Validate the matches between Novartis jobs/ positions and external survey providers and ensure alignment with in-country Rewards / People & Organization. Validate salary ranges and propose them to countries, ensure the ranges are provided as input into the annual review process.
• Provide job offer support by applying Novartis principles on sign-on and buy-out awards and obtaining the appropriate approvals according to the Novartis governance process. Contribute to the Annual Compensation Review process and propose the merit budget for relevant countries.
Minimum requirements
• University degree.
• Advanced degree and/or specialization in HR / Rewards desirable.
• Fluent English and Spanish proficiency.
• Significant (5-7 years) experience in Human Resources at a large organization, and a clear record of leading HR processes that maximize employee hiring, retention, and satisfaction levels.
• Working with commercial areas desirable or large size BU support (more than 150 people)
