Sourcing Specialist

Supports Category Management and other Business Stakeholders through end-to-end sourcing execution of their strategic projects

Main Stakeholders / Contacts:

Stakeholders: Global & Regional Procurement Category Managers (IM&S and RM), Procurement Site Buyers, external Suppliers

Contacts: Business & Market Analyst and Sourcing Support Team Manager, Business & Market Analysts, IT (solution designers and development teams)

You will be reporting to the Bus. & Market A. & Sourcing S. Team Mgr

Main responsibilities:

Day-to-day operations in the Sourcing Specialist area:

Supports end-to-end sourcing process execution for Global and Region Procurement teams

You will manage complex cross-country Procurement Sourcing Projects under the supervision of the Category Manager

Sourcing event preparation: compares multi-country and multi-region contracted prices to understand Givaudan’s current position

Develops, builds, and runs e-sourcing events (RFx, e-auction), evaluates and summarizes results, and makes recommendations using scenario optimization

You will identify potential Suppliers using external sources/databases

Execute supplier negotiation based on guidelines agreed with Partners

On-boards and trains suppliers on several e-sourcing platforms, resolves user login errors, collaborating with customer support and IT product owner

Super user of eSourcing platforms, providing training to partner groups, assisting them with daily usage and the execution of their sourcing events

Owns, designs, and reviews process documentations (e.g. SOPs and other manuals)

Builds effective relationships within local teams and different partner groups

You will communicate with internal and external partners by phone or by email

Ensures correct and daily execution of main responsibilities following the service levels

Acts according to the team’s governance principles: ensure integrity, quality and compliance

You?:

Degrees: University degree in the field of Economics, Business administration or equivalent

Languages: Fluent in English, additional good in French, Spanish, German or any Asian languages is a plus

Professional experience: 3+ years of experience in a comparable role

Required skills:

Expert knowledge of eSourcing platforms

Expert knowledge of MS Office

Strong Analytical and numeracy skills

Good presentation and influencing skills
