To help fulfill this mission, we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist with experience in startups and tech companies, to join the People team at Waterplan.
About your core focus
Waterplanners are central to accelerating the transition to a water-secure world. You will be a key player, by enabling extraordinary talent to join our mission. And you will achieve this by conducting the end-to-end recruiting process and securing a great candidate experience.
We are on a unique mission to change the status quo in the water sector, so we need to build a strong Talent Acquisition team to support the organization in finding the right people to tackle this challenge. Going forward, the People team aims to provide inspiring candidates and employee experiences through building the proper processes and everyday execution.
End-to-End Recruitment Management & Stakeholder Management
Manage your assigned hiring pipelines end-to-end: review applications, conduct screening interviews, and identify standout candidates.
Collaborate closely with leadership and hiring managers across teams to understand needs and build clear hiring strategies.
Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles.
Equip hiring managers with the tools and knowledge to succeed in recruitment through ongoing communication and training.
Lead the offer process: prepare proposals, participate in negotiations, and ensure smooth offer delivery.
Own the preboarding phase, making sure new hires have a seamless start.
Strategic Sourcing & Process Improvement
Continuously improve Talent Acquisition processes to be more efficient and impactful.
Build and nurture talent pipelines proactively by sourcing from diverse channels, including LinkedIn and relevant communities.
Discover and engage with talent clusters and niche groups to attract the best candidates.
Recruitment Operations & Employer Branding
Maximize the use of our ATS to keep recruitment flowing smoothly.
Manage job postings and recruitment channels to ensure global visibility of openings.
Help build Waterplan’s employer brand to attract top international talent passionate about water and sustainability.
About your profile
3-6 years of experience in Talent Acquisition
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken to interview people from all over the world.
Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS platforms.
A knack for deep-dive research and sourcing talent in creative ways.
Strong communication and storytelling skills that grab attention.
Highly organized with a process-driven mindset.
Ownership mentality: you push things forward, follow up, and make things happen.
Passion for people and connecting in fast-paced environments.
Experience working across teams, collaborating, and driving results together.
Empathy and active listening to align with different stakeholders’ needs.
Nice to have: Experience recruiting internationally and managing cross-country hiring processes.
